A quick game prop I made as practice for texturing, modeling, hitting a deadline and rendering. The prop was modeled in Maya and sits at 1.5K verts, in retrospect and for a real game I would remove the top cap and bake the bolts. Since it would be on the screen for such a short time there's a lot you could get away with if it's simply used for equipment. Though since I was aiming for mostly good renders I opted not to. Third picture is inside UE4, was super happy with the UE4 look after reading an article by Ben Bolton, he has a great lighting article up that I recommend reading if you haven't. Going to continue with the theme of WW1/ war props. More to come!
